We walked our own Year Round Event in Waco, TX. This walk is sponsored by the Trotting Texas Turtles out of Killeen.

The walk starts at the Waco Hilton which is right across the street from the famous Suspension Bridge that was part of the Chisum Trail. The bronze cattle drive about to cross the bridge commemorates that.
The walk heads down some stairs and goes to the Riverwalk along the Brazos River. As you go down the steps you can see a mural across the river of Martin Luther King.
Since I am participating in the Mural special events program, I had my husband take my picture with the mural for record purposes.
The walk continues down the Riverwalk all the way to the Baylor Sports Complex (where Baylor is playing today to see if they get a place in the World Series in Omaha, NE. Go Bears!)
The walk wanders all over the Baylor campus. Here is my husband in front of one of the BU bear statues.
We had a lot of fun. It was a great day to be outside walking.
