Irving Heritage YRE

DSCF4717

Irving is a relatively “new” town in Texas.  The walk was very interesting with the heritage information, the veteran’s memorial, and the other parks we walked too.  This should have been a 10K (6.2 mile) walk but due to an error in their directions we ended up walking 8.5 miles.  I had a map on the back of the written directions but didn’t consult it until I ended up on a dead end street and couldn’t go any further.    Oh well.  Chalk it up to another great Volksmarching Adventure!
