Luling Volksmarch (10K)

We walked a 10K in Luling on Saturday.  It was an interesting little town.  The walk started at the Watermelon Pavilion.  Lots of things in Luling have a watermelon theme.

There were many fine homes, both old and new.

There were two churches, and many other interesting buildings.

The flower, trees and cactus also added interest.

The walk included the Zedler Mill Museum.

We also visited the cemetery.

Here are just some stray pictures that didn’t fit into any category.

We had a great walk and then enjoyed great barbecue at Luling Barbecue (red building on the corner of Davis Street downtown).
