Salt Lake City Volksmarch (10K)

Our first day of vacation involved a flight to SLC, renting a car and driving to the walk start for this Year Round Volksmarching Event.  This is an urban hike / walking tour of Salt Lake City.

The Eagle Gate marks the original entrance to homestead of Brigham Young. This bronze eagle is a replacement of the original one erected in 1859. This one placed in 1891 is larger than the original.
