Dallas Downtown Volksmarch (10K)

This Dallas event was a Year Round.  We went to Union Station got the walk box, registered and started out.  Union Station has an interesting history.

This is the park across the street from it.

We headed out and soon saw the Old Dallas County Courthouse.  Beautiful building.  It is now a museum.  It wasn’t open.  We peeked in the door and saw the flying red horse.

I won’t bore you with all the pictures.  But we did stop by the new Nature and Science museum.  We didn’t go inside, admission is $15.00 a person.

We passed lots of nice old churches tucked up amongst the skyscrapers.

There were lots more fountains that the ones I took pictures of.

There were also lots of art and statues.

No visit is complete without a visit to the cattle drive.

Dallas has a lot to offer to an urban hiker.  We had a great time.
