The Texas Volkssport Assn. (TVA) holds a Memorial Event each Dec. 31st in memory of walkers who have passed away during the year. This event is held in Fredericksburg where the sport of Volksmarching started in the USA way back in 1976. We were there to walk and honor our lost companions.

Former Bank of Fredericksburg closed in 1936. Now a real estate office.

The Palace Theatre opened in 1922 and was in continuous operation until 2000 when the theater was closed and sold. It is now a western wear store.
