Lazy U Ranch Even 9/14/2019

This is a private ranch that the Randolph Roadrunners Club  from San Antonio was able to get us entry to. Our walk was hilly and wooded. There were Long Horn cattle roaming the area.

This veterans memorial was displayed on the wall of a building near our start location.

This building was started by ranch owner but was completed by veterans.

Walk started with a visit to this dock on the Guadalupe River.

Other walkers were already on the trail. We passed Siba who was headed back in.

Climbing the first hill.

Another walker headed in to the finish.

A view of the woods.

Other walkers taking Long Horn pictures.  They got closer than I would have.

Another view of the woods we walked through.

One of several stock ponds we walked by.

Volunteers manning the checkpoint. After checking in we retraced our steps back to the start.
